Discover the wonders of Rio de Janeiro, the Wonderful City, on this 4-day weekend adventure. We'll make the most of the weekend, visiting iconic attractions and experiencing authentic moments curated by a true Carioca, Thiago! ;)
Join us on the first evening for an informal get-together as the sun sets, setting the tone for an unforgettable trip.
Begin Day 2 with the awe-inspiring Cristo Redentor. Let the beauty of this iconic statue take your breath away. Enjoy a traditional feijoada lunch with a refreshing caipirinha. Stroll along the famous Copacabana Sidewalk, relax on Ipanema Beach, and witness a mesmerizing sunset from Arpoador. The evening comes alive at Pedra do Sal, where samba was born—created by enslaved Africans as a way to express themselves through music.
Day 3 begins with a Surprise Experience, one of the most exciting parts of the weekend. Afterward, we'll have lunch at a traditional Brazilian Steakhouse. In the afternoon, engage in a friendly game of Frescobol on Copacabana Beach, where the sport originated. The night ends with another lively get-together in the bars of Copacabana.
On Day 4, we'll explore the breathtaking Pão de Açúcar, offering panoramic views that will leave you in awe. Afterward, enjoy a stop at Mureta da Urca, Thiago’s favorite spot, to soak in the incredible views. As we wind down, we’ll visit the Selarón Steps, famous for their role in the music video for "Beautiful" by Snoop Dogg and Pharrell Williams. Finally, we’ll head to the airport, bringing an end to a weekend full of lifelong memories.

Meet Our Local Host
Hi everyone, this experience has been curated by me. Usually, I say I’m not only a Brazilian, but a Carioca (people who come from Rio de Janeiro). This statement emphasizes the free spirit I have, a vital feature of who was born and raised in the Wonderful City, as Rio is known. Joining this trip, you’ll understand where my passion comes from and why that place is so meaningful to everyone that has been there.
The host for this trip will be Roma, an authentic Carioca that is passionate about Rio and provides great experiences in the Wonderful City!
Itinerary
Day 1:
Flight: along the day (not included)
Check-in: from 3 pm at the hotel
8:30 pm: Informal get-together (optional - we'll share some options)
Day 2:
08 am: Breakfast (included)
09 am: Transfer to Cristo
10-12:30 pm: Visit Cristo Redentor (included)
1-2pm: Metropolitan Cathedral and Selaron Steps (Where Snoop Dogg and Farewell Williams filmed "Beautiful").
2-3:30 pm: Welcome lunch (feijoada) + 1 caipirinha (included)
3 pm: Quick free time at the hotel
5:15-6:30 pm: Beach time in Ipanema and Sunset from Arpoador with a the traditional Rio Snack on the Beach (Included)
Day 3:
9:30 am: Breakfast (included)
10:30 am: Van leaves the hotel
11-12:30: Surprise Experience!!
1-1:30: Porto Maravilha pointview
2-3:30 pm: Lunch at a Brazilian Steakhouse (not included)
5:45 pm: Meet Silvia at Hotel's Lobby
6-7 pm: Play Frescobol game at Copacabana Beach - Silvia will pick you up in the hotel lobby
9 pm: Van leaves for Pedra do Sal (first drink is on us) - there are street food options there
1-1:30 pm: Van leaves Pedra do Sal to the hotel
1:30-2 am: Arrival at the hotel
Day 4:
9-12: Free morning to enjoy the beach (Leme or Ipanena are the best)
12 pm: Check-out (store your luggage to the van)
12 pm: Transfer to Pão de Açúcar
12:30-2 pm: Visit to Pão de Açúcar (included)
2-2:30 pm: Short stop at the charming Mureta da Urca for the incredible views (Thiago’s spot with his friends) - stop to buy snacks from the bar (included)2:30 pm - Head to the aiport
3-5 pm: Downtown Exploring
5:30: head to the airport
9:25 pm: Flight to Florianopolis (Not included)
11:15 pm: Arrival in Floripa and transfer to Bewiki

Ground Transportation: All transfers in Floripa are included and the Copacabana- GIG Airport too. The arrival in Rio, as it will be along the day, is not.
Additional Information: Flight information: Do not purchase flights until experience is confirmed! The recommended outbound flight for December is GOL Linhas Aéreas G32023, departing Florianópolis (FLN) at 9:50 am on December 19th and arriving at Rio de Janeiro/Galeão International Airport (GIG) at 11:20 am after a direct flight of 1 hour and 30 minutes. The return flight is Azul Linhas Aéreas AD3077, departing Rio de Janeiro/Galeão (GIG) at 9:35 pm on December 22nd and arriving in Florianópolis (FLN) at 11:15 pm after a direct flight of 1 hour and 40 minutes. For January, the same itinerary applies with departure on January 23rd and return on January 26th.Transfers must be arranged privately if you choose another flight schedule for your outbound. We'll stay in Copacabana.
